Welcome to Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church! We’re so glad you’ve found us and would love to meet you this upcoming Sunday for worship and fellowship.
When Do we gather for worship?
We gather for worship twice each Lord’s day, at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM with a fellowship meal at 12:30 PM. Visitors are always invited to join us for our fellowship meal. Please don’t feel the need to bring anything yourself! We also have Sunday school at 10:00 AM if you would like to join us early for that.
What are your services like?
What about my children?
We encourage our families to worship together, parents and children. In order to help parents with children during worship, the rear pews are generally reserved for parents who might need to make a quick exit with a crying infant. We have a cry room in the back of the sanctuary with a speaker and two-way window for use whenever desired. We also have an unstaffed nursery with an adjustable speaker off the sanctuary.
What Does Covenant value & emphasize as a congregation?
- We emphasize expository preaching that mines the depth of the biblical texts, rather than chasing what’s popular.
- We worship simply and reverently with the singing of hymns/Psalms, and emphasize our corporate worship rather than numerous programs. (We do meet for Bible study on Wednesday evenings.)
- We focus on providing congregants with individual care by a pastor who knows them personally and can offer compassionate accessibility.
- We value being led by a group of qualified elders, who together with the pastor shepherd the congregation.
Where is the churcH located?
Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church meets at 495 S. Franklin Road in Mount Airy, NC. We’re located right next to the Franklin Elementary school building.
